Submerged Plants
Submerged plants are aquatic plants that are completely underwater. These pond plants provide a great place for your fish to hide from predators. Although these plants are also known as oxygenating plants, they consume oxygen at night and should not be used for the sole purpose of adding oxygen to the water. A waterfall or aeration kit should be used for this purpose.
