We put our pond in ourselves last year. My husband is meticulous about his work and we were very thorough in installation. This year we had to replace the falls because there is a "defect" in this falls. The cost for a professional installation of the falls was $1,500. Now there is a leak in the pond and they want another $1,250 to replace the pond part, with us doing all the tear apart. It has been a real nightmare. I recommend either having a professional install your pond or buy a more substantial pond kit. This one was definitely more expensive in the end. If I didn't like it so much, I would fill it in.
